Settings

Settings are special functions that remain perma-
nently stored independent of each washing cycle –
even after the appliance has been switched off.

Memory 1, 2, 3

Programme combinations can be stored at pro-
gramme knob positions MEMORY 1, 2, 3 and can
then be selected using the programme knob. To do
this the desired programme combination is first put
together and then stored.

Setting the Memory

Example: Programme position MEMORY 1 is to be
given the following programme combination: SYN-
THETICS 60 °C, 700 rpm, with PREWASH.
1. Turn the programme knob to SYNTHETICS.
2. Press the TEMP. key repeatedly, until 60 °C ap-

pears in the display.

3. Press the SPIN key repeatedly, until 700 appears in

the display.

4. Using the OPTIONS key set

PREWASH and

press the CHANGE key.
A black bar appears under the PREWASH
symbol

.

5. Press the OPTIONS key repeatedly, until the SE-

TUP symbol

flashes.

6. Press the CHANGE key. The display changes to

the Settings Options level. Programme memory
position MEMORY 1 is offered as the first option.

To change to another memory position, press
the OPTIONS key.

7. Presss the CHANGE key.

The programme combination is now stored to pro-
gramme knob position MEMORY 1 and in the fu-
ture can be selected directly using the programme
knob.

Changing the Memory

1. Put together the new programme combination as

required (for an example, see “Setting the Memo-
ry”, steps 1 to 4).

2. Press the OPTIONS key repeatedly, until the SE-

TUP symbol

flashes.

3. Press the CHANGE key.
4. Using the OPTIONS key select the memory posi-

tion to be changed, e. g. MEMORY 1.

5. Store the new programme combination using

the CHANGE key.
