Condition

Cause / Action

Over Temperature
Shutdown

The PROwatt 600 has overheated and shut
down. The inverter may have overheated
because it was operated at power levels
above its 600W continuous output rating or
because it was installed in a location that
does not allow it to dissipate heat properly.
Turn the inverter off and then back on after
it has cooled down.
Note:

To cool the inverter quickly, remove

any loads, and leave the switch on to keep
the fan running.

Overload Shutdown A severe overload has caused the

PROwatt 600 to shut down.
Turn it off for 4–5 seconds, correct the fault
condition, and turn it back on. Do not turn
the inverter on again unless you have
corrected the fault condition (removed the
load or unplugged it).

Low Voltage
Shutdown

The supply voltage (battery) has dropped
below 10 V.

High Voltage
Shutdown

The supply voltage (battery) has exceeded
15 V.
