4. Do one of the following:
– To use a preconfigured service, tap the Service pick list, and then tap the
service name.
– To create a new service or to use a service that does not appear on the list, tap
the Menu icon and then select New.
If you select a preconfigured service, some or all settings on the Network
Preferences screen are filled in by default. You may need to enter some settings as
explained in the following procedures.
If you create a new service, you need to enter all the settings for that service as
explained in the following procedures.
Entering a username
The User Name setting identifies the name you use when you log in to your e-mail
service provider. Although this field can contain multiple lines of text, only two
lines appear on the screen.
To enter a username:

On the Preferences screen, tap the User Name field and enter your username.
