Port Commands

Table 4-10 describes port commands.

create fdbentry <mac_address> vlan <name>
<portlist>

Allows you to create a permanent FDB entry. Specify
the following:

mac_address — Device MAC address, using colon
separated bytes.

name — VLAN associated with MAC address.

portlist — Port number associated with MAC
address.

If more than one port number is associated with a
permanent MAC entry, packets will be multicast to the
multiple destinations.

delete fdbentry <mac_address> vlan <name>

Allows you to delete a permanent FDB entry.

config fdb agingtime <number>

Allows you to configure the FDB ageing time. The
range is 15 through 1,000,000 seconds. The default
value is 1800 seconds. A value of 0 indicates that the
entry should never be aged out.
