Intended use

One-handed planer suitable for machining
– wood, soft plastic and similar materials,
– only with tools manufactured by Festool.
The machine is designed and approved for use by
trained persons or specialists only.

The user is liable for improper or non-in-
tended use.

General safety instructions

Machine-related safety instructions

Wait for the cutter to stop before setting the tool

down.

An exposed rotating cutter may engage

the surface leading to possible loss of control and
serious injury.

Hold the power tool by insulated gripping sur-

faces only, because cutter may contact its own
cord.
Cutting a "live" wire may make exposed
