NOTICE: To avoid damage to the memory module, press the module straight
down into the socket with equal force applied at each end of the module.
c Press the DIMM straight down into the socket until the securing
clips snap into place at the ends of the DIMM.
D I M M I n s t a l l a t i o n
4 Close the computer cover , reconnect your computer and devices to
their electrical outlets, and turn them on.
NOTE: After you open and close the cover, the chassis intrusion detector
causes the following message to appear on the screen at the next computer
start-up:
ALERT! Cover was previously removed.
