5.

Slide the power supply approximately 1 inch toward the front of the computer.

 

6.

Carefully lift the power supply out of the computer.

 

Replacing the Power Supply

 

1.

Lower the power supply into the computer and slide the power supply toward the back of the computer.

 

2.

Replace the three power supply screws.

 

3.

Reconnect all DC power cables.

 

4.

).


 

5.

Connect the AC power cable to the power supply connector.

 

6.

Connect your computer and devices to electrical outlets, and then turn them on.

2.

Remove any components that restrict access to the system board.

 

3.

Remove the heat sink assembly and processor.

 

4.

Disconnect all cables from the system board.

Before touching anything inside your computer, ground yourself by touching an unpainted metal surface, such as the metal at the back of the

computer. While you work, periodically touch an unpainted metal surface to dissipate any static electricity that could harm internal components.
