7.8 CUE POINTS
7.8.1 I
NTRODUCTION
The cue points are reference marks that can be placed in the timecode bar
wherever needed in the edit. Their primary goal is to mark the edit with a visual
flag and, optionally, a description of the event, and therefore to ease the access
to a precise position on that edit.
They are represented by a yellow triangle with their number written in them. Each
logged event contains a timecode, a label and a description.

To create a cue point, proceed in one of the following ways:
•
Position the nowline where you want to place the cue point, press
,
followed by a number on the keypad, and then press ENTER.
•
Right-click on the timecode bar, and select Add Cue Point from the contextual
menu.
