The frequency response graph represents the filter response for the current filter parameters. You

don’t have to use any button to update the frequency response graph; the graph is automatically

updated when the filter parameters change. The filter parameters are described in the following

table:

Filter Parameters

Description

There are five available filter types: 1) ButterWorth 2) Chebyshev

3) Inverse Chebyshev 4) Elliptic and 5) Bessel.

The filter function control allows selecting a Lowpass, Highpass,

Bandpass or Bandstop filter. When a Lowpass or Highpass filter is

selected, only the Fc low parameter is available. The Fc high parameter

is available for the Bandpass and Bandstop selections only.

This parameter allows specifying the cut-off frequency of Lowpass and

HighPass filters and the low cut-off frequency of Bandpass and

Bandstop filters.

This parameter allows specifying the high cut-off frequency of the

Bandpass and Bandstop filters. This parameter is not used for the

Lowpass and Highpass selections.

This is the filter order. This parameter is available for all filter type

selections.

This parameter is used only for the Elliptic and Chebyshev filter types.

This parameter is the tolerable passband ripple of the filter. It must be

greater than zero and expressed in decibels.
