Troubleshooting

Other electronc products such as HAM rados and other DECT phones can

cause nterference wth your cordless phone. Try nstallng your phone as far

away as possble from these types of electronc devces.
Test a workng telephone at the telephone wall jack. If another telephone has the

same problem, the problem s n the telephone wall jack. Contact your telephone

servce provder (charges may apply).
The telephone lne cord may be defectve. Install a new telephone lne cord.
Remove and nstall the battery agan and place the handset n the telephone

base or charger.
Wat for the handset to synchronze wth the telephone base. Allow up to one

mnute for ths to take place.

My handset beeps and is not performing normally.

Make sure the power cord s securely plugged nto the telephone base. Plug

the telephone base nto a dfferent workng electrcal outlet not controlled by a

wall swtch.
Move the handset closer to the telephone base. It may be out of range.
Reset the telephone base by unpluggng the electrcal power to the base. Wat

for 15 seconds and plug t back n agan. Allow up to one mnute for the cordless

handset and the telephone base to synchronze.

There is interference during a telephone conversation. My calls fade

out when I am using the cordless handset.

The handset may be out of range. Move t closer to the telephone base.
If you subscrbe to hgh-speed Internet servce (DSL - dgtal subscrber lne)

through your telephone lne, you must nstall a DSL flter between the telephone

lne cord and the telephone wall jack. The flter prevents nose and caller ID

problems caused by DSL nterference. Contact your DSL servce provder for

more nformaton about DSL flters.
Applances or other cordless telephones plugged nto the same crcut as the

telephone base can cause nterference. Try movng the applance or telephone

base to another outlet.
