If your telephone s plugged n wth a modem or a surge protector, plug the

telephone (or modem/surge protector) nto a dfferent locaton. If ths doesn’t

solve the problem, relocate your telephone or modem farther apart from each

other, or use a dfferent surge protector.
The locaton of your telephone base can mpact the performance of your cordless

phone. For better recepton, nstall the telephone base n a centralzed locaton

wthn your home or offce, away from walls or other obstructons. In many

envronments, elevatng the telephone base mproves overall performance.
Dsconnect the telephone base from the telephone wall jack and plug n a corded

telephone. If calls are stll not clear, the problem s probably n the wrng or

telephone servce. Contact your telephone servce provder (charges may apply).
If other telephones n your home are havng the same problem, the problem s n

the wrng or telephone servce. Contact your telephone servce provder (charges

may apply).

I hear other calls when using the telephone.

Dsconnect the telephone base from the telephone wall jack. Plug n a dfferent

telephone. If you stll hear other calls, the problem s probably n the wrng or

telephone servce. Contact your telephone servce provder.

I hear noise on the cordless handset and the keys do not work.

Make sure the telephone lne cord s plugged n securely.

The caller ID features are not working properly.

Caller ID s a subscrpton servce. You must subscrbe to ths servce from your

telephone servce provder for ths feature to work on your telephone.
The caller may not be callng from an area whch supports caller ID.
Both your and the caller’s telephone servce provders must use equpment

compatble wth the caller ID servce.
The caller ID nformaton dsplays after the frst or second rng.
If you subscrbe to hgh-speed Internet servce (DSL - dgtal subscrber lne)

through your telephone lne, you must nstall a DSL flter between the telephone

lne cord and the telephone wall jack. The flter prevents nose and caller ID

problems caused by DSL nterference. Contact your DSL servce provder for

more nformaton about DSL flters.

The telephone does not receive caller ID or the telephone does not

show caller ID during call waiting.

Make sure you subscrbe to caller ID wth call watng features provded by your

telephone servce provder.
