Troubleshooting

The caller may not be callng from an area whch supports caller ID.
Both your and the caller’s telephone servce provders must use equpment

compatble wth caller ID servce.
If you subscrbe to hgh-speed Internet servce (DSL - dgtal subscrber lne)

through your telephone lne, you must nstall a DSL flter between the telephone

lne cord and the telephone wall jack. The flter prevents nose and caller ID

problems caused by DSL nterference. Contact your DSL servce provder for

more nformaton about DSL flters.

Out of range or no pwr at base shows on the handset screen.

The handset may be out of range. Move t closer to the telephone base.
Make sure the power cord s securely plugged nto the telephone base. Use a

workng electrcal outlet not controlled by a wall swtch.
Reset your telephone by unpluggng the power adapter from the telephone base.

Dsconnect the battery from the cordless handset. Wat for 15 seconds, then

plug n the power adapter and nstall the battery agan. Place the handset n the

telephone base and allow up to one mnute for the handset and telephone base

to synchronze.
Other electronc products such as HAM rados and other DECT phones can

cause nterference wth your cordless phone. Try nstallng your phone as far

away as possble from these types of electronc devces.

New voicemail and show on the handset and I don’t know why.

If

New voicemail and appear on the handset, your telephone has receved a

sgnal from your telephone servce provder that you have a vocemal message

watng for you to retreve from them. Contact your telephone servce provder for

more nformaton on how to access your vocemal.

I cannot retrieve voicemail messages.

If you subscrbe to vocemal servce from your telephone servce provder

(charges may apply), contact your telephone servce provder for more

nformaton on how to access your vocemal.

I subscribe to a nontraditional telephone service that uses my

computer to establish connections, and my telephone doesn’t work.

Make sure your computer s powered on.
Make sure your Internet connecton s workng properly.
Make sure that the software s nstalled and runnng for your nontradtonal

telephone servce.
