1. Introduction

The DVM892 is a 600V CAT II digital multi-meter with a 3½ digit LCD. This device

is can be used to measure direct and alternating voltages, direct and alternating

currents, resistance, continuity, capacity, temperature, frequency, diode and

transistors (hFE).
Be very careful when using this device: carelessness can lead to serious or even

fatal injury. Besides the usual safety-precautions for working with electrical circuits

you must follow the safety guidelines as described in this manual. Do not use this

device if you do not have preliminary knowledge of circuits and test procedures.

This device is not suitable for commercial or industrial use.
