The motherboard comes with a 775-pin surface mount Land Grid Array
(LGA) socket designed for the Intel
® Pentium ® 4 processor in the 775-land
package. The motherboard supports the Intel ® Pentium ® 4 processor with
800/533 MHz Front Side Bus (FSB). The motherboard also supports the
Intel
® Hyper-Threading technology, is fully compatible with Intel ® 04B and
04A processors, and incorporates the Extended Memory 64-bit Technology
(EM64T). The EM64T enables support for 64-bit operating system, such
as 64-bit Windows

The Intel ® E7221Memory Controller Hub (MCH), Intel ® ICH6R I/O controller
hub (ICH), and the Intel ® 6702 PXH PCI/PCI-X bridge provide the vital
interfaces for the motherboard.
The MCH provides the processor, dual-channel DDR2 memory, and x8 PCI
Express interfaces. The integrated graphics engine supports standard SVGA
display. The ICH is a new generation server class I/O controller hub that
provides bridging functions for the PCI Express and PCI interface, and
supports the PCI Express hot-plug controller.

This motherboard offers native DDR2-533 (PC2-4300) memory support to

interfaces controlled by the Intel
