USER MANUAL

(1) Power On/Off button
(2) Tuning accuracy LEDs… Flat – Correct – Sharp
(3) Note LEDs – Indicate which note/string is detected
(4) Input – 6.3mm jack connector for guitar or bass
(5) Mic – Internal microphone for tuning acoustic instruments
(6) Battery Cover Lock

Operation

Load the 2 x AAA batteries by pressing the Battery Cover Lock and open up
the bottom of the case along the direction indicated by the word “OPEN”.
Place the batteries inside, noting the correct orientation of “+” and “-“, then
replace the battery cover, clicking it into place.

Connect the guitar or bass via the 6.3mm jack input or if tuning an acoustic
instrument place the tuner close to the front of the guitar so that the
microphone can “hear” the tone being played.

If power is not already on, press the Power On/Off button. The Note LEDs will
flash from left to right and then the green “in-tune” LED will flash until a note
is detected. Play a note and adjust the tension until the correct note LED lights
for that particular string. If the “b“ LED is lit, increase the tension gently and if
the “#” LED is lit, reduce tension until the green “>O<” LED is lit on its own.
This indicates that the string is in-tune, move on to the next string and repeat
until all strings are tuned in.

Press the Power On/Off button to power down – the Note LEDs will flash from
right to left before switching off. Otherwise, if no note is detected for 3
minutes, the tuner will power down automatically.
