Getting started

Install the supplied CR2032 button cell into the rear compartment with positive side facing outward

Clip the CCT400 to the headstock or a part of the instrument where vibrations can be detected

Rotate the display so that it can be seen clearly during tuning.

Operation

The CCT400 has a single button operation

Press the button for 3 seconds to switch on/off

A short press of the button switches through the tuning modes.

Play a note and the detected pitch will be represented on the virtual needle display

If the note is not detected, try another clip location on the instrument

Needle to the left indicates “flat” and to the right indicates “sharp”

Needle in the centre indicates “in-tune”, confirmed by the backlight changing to green

If no note or button press is detected for 3 minutes, the unit will switch off automatically

If the unit stops responding or the display “freezes”, remove the battery and then replace it again

Avoid damage through impact, heat and keep away from liquids or direct sunlight

If display becomes dim, replace the CR2032 button cell
