Note regarding dry run and overheating protection:
In order to protect the electronics in EB pumps from temperatures that are too high, the

pump power, and thus the flow of water that is too hot, is automatically reduced. The
temperature is measured directly at the electronics. When the temperature of the
electronics is between 105 °C and 115 °C, the pump power is continuously lowered to
minimum power. The pump automatically stops completely at 125 °C and automatically

restarts at 115 °C, when the electronics have cooled down.

Motor housing may be very hot. Burn hazard.
The pump is restarted as soon as it has cooled down.

Note regarding replacement motors:
Two different seals are included in the scope of delivery with LOWARA replacement
motors:
- Use the O-ring seal to replace an old LOWARA pump motor on a LOWARA pump

housing with a new LOWARA pump motor.

- Use the flat seal to replace an old non- LOWARA pump motor on a non-LOWARA

pump housing with a new LOWARA pump motor (replacement list available on

request). If the LOWARA O-ring seal is mistakenly used in non-LOWARA pump
housings, water may leak out between the non-LOWARA pump housing and the
LOWARA replacement motor because non-LOWARA pump housings have a sealing
ridge located near the sealing surface.
