Changing the TS-LLD Leak Sensing Unit

Parts Required:

1.

TS-LLD Installation Manual (INCON P/N 000-1359)

2.

Leak Sensing Unit (LSU) replacement part (LSSP-LSU)

3.

INCON Danger Stickers (240-1175)

4.

M I Cable Adapter (FE Petro, or RedJacket)

Tools & Material Required:

1.

Manufacturers’ documentation for the Submerged Turbine Pump (STP)

2.

See the Installation Manual for a detailed list of Materials & Tools Required

Old TS-LLD LSU – Removal Steps:

1.

DANGER

disconnect

electrical power as described in the LSU Installation and

Safety chapters of the TS-LLD Installation Manual.

2.

Bleed / relieve the pipe line pressure !

3.

Follow the LSU Installation steps shown in the TS-LLD Installation Manual – IN
REVERSE ORDER –
to remove the LSU.

New Leak Sensing Unit – Installation:

Follow the Safety Instructions, the steps for LSU Installation, and the After
Installation Steps / Testing
(as detailed in the Installation Manual).

Return the old Leak Sensing Unit:

Pack the old Leak Sensing Unit and contact INCON Technical Service Department
for: an RMA number, the exact Return Shipping Address, and about any other
instructions that may be required. Call toll free at 1-800-984-6266.
