7 Optional: From the TEST SETUP screen, you can enter
reference test cord lengths to meet TSB-140 reporting
requirements:
Use L to highlight a reference test cord number, press
t ; then enter a length. Press N when you are done.
8 Press C OK to leave the TEST SETUP screen.

Caution
If you disconnect the reference test cord from the
tester's output, you must set the reference again
to ensure valid measurements.
9 Clean the connectors on the cabling to be tested; then
connect the reference test cords and the short patch
cord to the cabling, as shown in Figure 29.
10 Press T to start the loss/length test.
11 To save the results, press s , select or create a fiber
ID; then press s .
