Instrument must have been purged in accordance with the following:
All flow instruments returned to Brooks requires completion of Form RPR003-1,
Brooks Instrument Decontamination Statement, along with a Material Safety Data
Sheet (MSDS) for the fluid(s) used in the instrument. Failure to provide this
information will delay processing by Brooks personnel. Copies of these forms can
be downloaded from the Brooks website www.BrooksInstrument.com or are
available from any Brooks Instrument location listed above.
2-5 Installation of Flowmeter
If the inlet and outlet valves adjacent to the indicator are to be
closed for any reason, the indicator must be completely drained.
Failure to do so may result in thermal expansion of the liquid
which can rupture the meter and cause possible personal injury.
