Step 5 – Attaching the Wall Plate to the Wall
To attach the Wall Plate to wooden studs or concrete, using the Hex
Screw and Socket Wrench screw the top Hex Screw ONLY, as shown in
Figure 13.
Again, using the Built-in Bubble Level/Spirit Level, adjust the Wall Plate
until it is level as shown in Figure 13. When the Wall Plate is level, use the
Socket Wrench, to screw the Hex Screw in the bottom hole of the Wall
Plate. Screw tightly enough to produce a strong bond, but do not over-
tighten or there may be damage to the mount or screws.
Use all Hex Screws to mount the Wall Plate to the wall.
Step 6 – Mounting the TV Bracket to the Wall Plate
To mount the TV to the wall, slide the TV Bracket (with the attached TV)
over the top of the Wall Plate (which has been secured to the wall as
specified above) and push down as shown in Figure 14.
The Quick-Lock will click into place securing the TV Bracket on to the
Wall Plate.
Step 7 – Securing, Tilting and Extending the TV
Bracket
Once the TV Bracket is secured to the Wall Plate, install the Theft
Deterrent Screw (Bag 7) as shown in Figure 15.
If the TV is not straight after being secured to the mount, the leveling can
be adjusted 7-8° by simply placing both hands on either side of the TV
screen and turning it up or down until it is level.
To tilt the TV, use the Tilt Adjustment Knob to tighten or loosen the joint as
shown in Figure 15.
To extend the TV, loosen the Adjustment Knob, make the adjustment and
then re-tighten the adjustment knob as shown in Figure 15.
The Cord Management system keeps the cords from becoming tangled as
shown in Figure 15.
