Assembly Instructions For Little Colorado, Inc. Toddler Beds Items #84 and #88
You will need a standard phillips screwdriver to complete assembly.
1. Install four screws about halfway into the four pre-drilled holes in the headboard and also into the four corresponding pre-
drilled holes in the footboard.
2. Arrange the parts so that the 3/4" by 3/4" wooden cleats are on the inside of each of the sides and the headboard and
footboard. These cleats hold up the mattress supports.
3. Position the top and bottom holes in the metal brackets over the heads of the screws in the headboard and footboard and
slide them down until firmly seated.
4. Tighten all the screws that are now holding up the sides and drop in the mattress supports. You will notice that two of the
three mattress supports do not have square corners. These two pieces fit in the corners of the bed. The remaining mattress
support fits in the center. You are now finished. Please contact us if you need any help in assembly.
When you need to disassemble these products, follow these instructions in reverse. All of us at Little Colorado, Inc. hope that
you and your little ones enjoy this Toddler Bed for many years and then pass it on the the next generation.
The minimum age shall be no less
than 15 months and the maximum
weight shall not be greater than 50
lb. ( 22.7 kg).*
The mattress intended for use
on this bed shall be a full-size crib
mattress having minimum 51.625
in. (1310 mm) in length and 27 in.
(690 mm) in width and thickness of
less than 6".
*This statement is required by law to be
disclosed on all Toddler Beds.
WARNING: Do not place items with a string, cord or ribbon around
a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords.
WARNING: Do not suspend strings over a Toddler Bed for any reason.
WARNING: Do not attempt to use any type of additional add on guard rails with this bed.
WARNING: Do not place bed near windows where cords from blinds or drapes may strangle a child.
Helpful hints.....
Let your child help you assemble this
bed. Assure your child that this is their
special bed, just their size. Let them
watch you move their crib mattress
from their crib to their new special bed
and let them help you make it up with
their crib bedding. Now that your child
is more familiar with their new toddler
bed, the transition experience from the
crib will be much more comfortable for
them and for you. This worked very
well for our children.
