You will need a standard
phillips screwdriver to
complete assembly.
1. Please inspect the parts for damage during shipping and for any missing items. If you suspect that there may be damage or a short-
age, call us and we will send replacement parts if needed. At this time, visualize how the components fit together per the above drawing
and make sure that you have everything identified.
2. Insert two of the barrel nuts into the holes on underside of the right side of the shelf. Put the smooth side in first so that the slotted
side is showing and align the longest slot toward the bolt hole. You should be able to look into the smaller holes in the ends of the part and
see the threaded openings in the barrel nuts. If necessary, rotate the barrel nuts with a screwdriver so that they line up perfectly.
3. Holding the shelf and a side upside down, insert the right side of the shelf into the slot and install two joint connector bolts. Be sure the
slot in the shelf is on the lower side. Using the allen wrench provided, tighten these two bolts until the wrench first starts to become harder
to turn. Then loosen the bolts by one full turn. Insert the shelf support into the slot in the same side and into the slot under the shelf. Now
install one bolt and barrel nut following the same tightening and loosening procedure.
4. Now fit this shelf and support assembly into the other side and install three bolts following the same procedure.
5. Slide the rod through the holes near the top so the the ends stick through exactly one inch from each side.
6. Place stand on a hard level surface and adjust it so that it sits evenly on all four corners.
7. Screw in the three 1-1/4" screws through the top of the shelf into the shelf support until tight.
8. Now tighten all six bolts until snug. Check the rod again to be sure there is exactly one inch sticking out of each side and screw in the
two 2" screws that angle in through the tops of the sides to secure it.
Your children can now begin using the Play Stand. Please supervise them carefully and obey the safety warnings on the top of this page.
Do not exceed a weight of more than five pounds on the center of the dowel or it can be damaged.
