Please visualize how all the components fi t together per the illustration and make sure that you have everything

identifi ed. Please inspect the parts for possible shipping damage and for any missing items. If you suspect that there

could be a problem, contact us and we will help you.

1. First assemble the Mirror. Remove the paper from the refl ective side of the Mirror and place Mirror in the recessed

side of the Mirror Oval Frame. Place the Mirror Backing Plate over the Mirror and exactly line up the ten small holes

and two larger holes. Screw in the ten 5/8" Screws to secure it. Now lay the assembled Mirror Oval Frame upside

down on a carpeted fl oor.

2. Insert one of the Barrel Nuts into each hole in the rear of the Mirror Oval Frame. Put the smooth side of the Barrel

Nut in fi rst so that the slotted side is showing and align the longest slot toward the bolt hole. You should be able to

look into the smaller holes and see the threaded opening in the Barrel Nuts. If necessary, rotate the Barrel Nuts so

that they line up perfectly.

3. Lay the Stand in the correct position outside the Mirror Oval. Place a Plastic Washer on one of the Bolts and push it

in the hole from the outside of the stand. As the Bolt comes through the stand, add another Plastic Washer between

the Mirror and the Mirror Oval Frame. Continue screwing in the Bolt until it is threaded into the Barrel Nut. Repeat this

procedure for the other side.

4. The Cross Support for the stand slides in to place until all four feet are level. If it does not slide all the way in,

rotate it one half turn. Screw in the 2

1/2

" Wood Screw through the pre-drilled hole underneath the center of the Cross

Support and into the Mirror Oval Fame until tight.

5. Place the assembled Cheval Mirror upright on a level surface. Tighten the Bolts as needed to adjust the tension

on the mirror pivot so that it will stay in the preferred position. The mirror pivot mechanism is designed for easy

adjustment and may occasionally need to be tightened. The mirror is not designed to be used as a toy and spun

around. If children are allowed to spin the mirror around, the bolts may unscrew themselves and fall out.

If you have any problems with assembly, please call us and we will help you.

The fi nish is a water-based acrylic paint. It is non toxic and safe for children. There may be an odor when fi rst
unpacked. It will dissipate more rapidly with warmer temperatures and air movement.

The mirror is shatterproof acrylic, not glass, and is more susceptible to scratching than glass. Clean all surfaces

carefully with a non abrasive cleanser and a soft cloth

All of us at Little Colorado, Inc hope that you and your little ones enjoy this Cheval Mirror for many years.
