SYSTEM’S OPERATION
HOW TO VIEW
THE TENANT NAME.
HOW TO INITIATE A
CALL AND UNLOCK
THE DOOR FOR
VISITOR.
Two ways to view the tenant name:
1. Press 3 to scroll the tenant name from A to Z.
2. Press 6 to scroll the tenant name from Z to A.
Two way to initiate a call:
1. USING THE SCROLLING ELECTRONIC DIRECTORY
Step 1 Press 3 or 6 to scroll the tenant name, when the tenant name you are
intended to call is visible on the display, then press # to initiate the call. The
display shows:
NNNNNNNNNNNN= tenant
name
then the display shows
Step 2 Press * to cancel the call, otherwise wait for the tenant to answer your call.
Step 3 Tenant must press 9 (default setting to unlock relay 1 (door 1)) or 8 (default
setting to unlock relay 2 (door 2)).
2. A DIRECT CALL
You must know the tenant directory number to use a direct call. The tenant directory
number can be associated with apartment number, suite number, etc..
Step 1 Press # and wait for a dial tone, the display shows:
N: tenant code (directory code)
number of digit
Step 2 Press the 2, 3 or 4 digit directory number, the system will initiate the call, the
display shows
NNNN: tenant code (directory code)
then the display shows
Step 3 Press * to cancel the call, otherwise wait for the tenant to answer your call.
Step 4 Tenant must press 9 (default setting to unlock relay 1 (door 1)) or 8 (default
setting to unlock relay 2 (door 2)).
