The HNL Edge-of-Dock leveler uses a pressure

operated valve block and two push-button controls for

ease of use.

The dock leveler can be operated using the RAISE

button (J) or LOWER button (K) on the control panel .

Platform (B) is raised by pushing and holding the

RAISE button (J). This activates an electric motor (D)

which, in turn, drives a hydraulic pump. The hydraulic

pump forces oil into the platform cylinder (F). When

extended link arm (C) locks in place, pushing and

holding the LOWER button (K) lowers unit onto the

truck bed.

Once in the back of the truck the extend link arm (C)

will disengage which will allow the lip to retract to the

stored position once trailer has pulled away from dock.

Pressing the raise button will return the platform and

lip to the stored position once the lip clear the bed of

the trailer.
