1.1 Introduction

The IMBA-C2160 is an ATX motherboard. It accepts a Socket LGA1155 Intel® Xeon® E3
or Intel® Core™ i3 quad/dual core processor and supports four 240-pin 1600/1333 MHz
dual-channel DDR3 DIMM modules up to 32 GB.
The IMBA-C2160 supports two GbE interfaces through the Intel® 82579 Ethernet PHY
(with Intel® AMT 8.0 support) and the Intel® 82574L Ethernet controller.
The IMBA-C2160 provides VGA display output. Expansion and I/O include two PCI slots,
two PCIe x16 slots (one with x8 signal), two PCIe x4 slots, one PCIe x1 slot, four USB 3.0
by rear panel, four USB 2.0 by rear panel, six USB 2.0 by pin headers, two SATA 6Gb/s
connectors, four SATA 3Gb/s connectors, six COM ports and one keyboard/mouse
connector.
