S te p 8:
Install the fan module in the same position it was before and tighten the eight fan
bracket retention screws.
S te p 9:
Connect the fan connector (CPU_FAN1).
S te p 10:
Replace the cover and secure it using five previously removed retention screws.
3.4 CP U In s ta lla tio n
WARNING:
CPUs are expensive and sensitive components. When installing the
CPU, please be careful not to damage it in anyway. Do NOT touch the
pins at the bottom of the CPU. When handling the CPU, only hold it on
the sides.
To install the CPU, please follow the steps below:
S te p 1:
Remove the top cover from the device. See Section 3.3.
S te p 2:
Remove the fan module. See Section 3.3.

Locate the CPU socket (
