2.7 Initializing Setup Data

If you change the setup data on this software, the changes are stored and will appear

the next time you start the software. If you want to view or change the current system

configuration, follow the procedure in section 2.7.1. If you change the system configuration,

the current setup data will be initialized. If you do not want to change the current system

configuration but want to just initialize the settings, follow the procedure in section 2.7.2.

2.7.1

Viewing and Changing the System Configuration

Procedure

On the main menu, click the

System tab and then System Config.

The System Config. dialog box appears, showing the current system configuration.

If you just want to view the system configuration and not change it, click

Cancel.

To change it, select the option or module that you want to change.

Click to

select a module.

Select whether these

options are available.

When you have

changed the items

click OK.

To not change, click Cancel.

Select the GX/GP firmware version.

Click to select a model.

After you set the items, click the

OK.

The system is reconfigured, and the setup items for the new system configuration will appear.

Initializing Setup Data

Procedure

On the main menu, click the

System tab and then Initialize.

The initialization confirmation dialog box appears.

Click

OK to initialize.

The settings are initialized to their defaults, which are the settings used for new setup data.
