7.3 Disassembly Procedure (Common Items)
This is a description of the disassembly procedures that are common to the dot and pen
models. The photographs are of the dot model, but the pen model has the same
structure and the same procedures can be used.
Internal Unit - Frame Assembly [Item 10 on pages 6-2 and 6-16]
1. Remove the Chart Cassette Assembly.
2. Sufficiently loosen screw (A), then remove screw (B).
(Screw tightening torque: 0.88 to 0.98 N·m).

3. Sufficiently loosen the screw that holds down the cover, then open the cover.
(Screw tightening torque: 0.59 to 0.69 N·m).

4. Release the lock on the Joint Board PCB connector (CN2) and remove the FPC
from the connector.
