6.2.5 Utility seals
To prevent intervention by non-authorised persons to the hardware and software, measures can
be taken after installation and commissioning of the water meter in the field. For detailed
information, please check your local regulations.
The following figures provide an example for additional utility seals. A utility seal on the outer
housing of the converter and a utility seal on the measurement sensor can provide evidence of
an intervention by an non-authorised person.
