8.4 Measurement accuracy
Each water meter is standard wet calibrated under reference conditions by direct volume
comparison. The performance of the water meter is defined and documented in an individual
water meter calibration certificate.
Reference conditions
• Medium: water
• Temperature: +10...30°C / +50...86°F
• Pressure: 1 bar / 14.5 psi
• Inlet section: ≥ 3 DN
• Outlet section: ≥ 1 DN
• Electrical conductivity: ≥ 300 μS/cm
