9. Check the box next to Date/Time, then tap the Date/Time button to display the settings.

Result: The Date and Time Settings screen opens.

10. Check the Now box to autopopulate the date and time based on the Trimble Ranger internal clock (recommended).

NOTE: Make sure the time and date on the Trimble Ranger is correct. To modify the date and/or time on the Trimble

Ranger, go to Start > Settings, select the System tab, then select Clock & Alarms.

To manually set the date and time, uncheck the Now box and enter the date and time in the following format.

Date: yyyy mm dd Time: hh mm ss

Time must be entered in 24-hour clock format. Hours, minutes and seconds must be entered. The IHD will

automatically convert to a.m./p.m. on the display. For example, 2:15 p.m. would be entered as 14 15 00.

Tap OK to accept the settings when you are finished.

Cancel to return to the IHD Programmer screen without saving your changes.

11. When all parameters have been set (Serial Number, Type, Meter Model and Billing Units), tap the Program button to

save the parameters specified for the IHD. This may take a few moments.
Result: A window opens with the message Programming Complete.

12. Tap OK at the bottom left to close the window and return to the IHD Programmer screen.

The IHD is now programmed and ready to use.
