Installing the RFC1000

The RFC1000 interface device comes with a USB cable.
1.
Plug the USB end of the cable into an available USB port on the PC.
2. Plug the opposite end of the cable into the communication port on the RFC1000.

Additional RFC1000s can act as repeaters and may be plugged into wall outlets for greater distances.
1.
Plug the RFC1000 into the USB port on the base station computer.
2. Plug additional RFC1000s into wall outlets.
Note: The red LED will illuminate to signify the RFC1000 has been connected correctly.
Determine the distance from the remote RFC1000s to the base module. If the distance is greater than 1000 feet indoors, or 4000
feet outdoors, or there are walls/obstacles/corners that need to be maneuvered around, set up additional RFC1000s as needed.
