Always disconnect all auxiliary power cords and
accessories from fan before servicing. Always
disconnect fan from all power sources. Never run
or operate fan without all components in place
especially protective covers and grills.

et les accessoires auxiliaires du ventilateur avant
l'entretien. Débranchez toujours le ventilateur de
toutes les sources d'électricité. Ne faites jamais
fonctionner ou n'actionnez jamais le ventilateur
sans tous ses composants et plus particulière-
ment, les couvercles protecteurs et les grilles.

Replacing Fan/Motor Assembly

1.

Remove the motor/fan assembly from main
housing by removing base plates 6 screws.

2.

While lowering base plate motor assembly out of
housing, detach the main harness electrical
connector from fan motor.

3.

Rotate bottom vent plate and align access holes.
Insert tool through holes and remove 4 mounting
screws from fan/motor assembly.

NOTE: The motor/fan is replaced as a matched unit,
never disassemble the fan from motor.

4.

Reverse steps to reassemble.

Removing Electrical Console

1.

To remove the console assembly first remove the
fan/motor base plate assembly.

2.

To remove electrical console from main housing,
remove 4 screws from inside the housing that
mount to back and bottom of console.

3.

Feed harness through holes in housing as it is
removed.

4.

Reverse steps to reassemble.

Replacing GFCI

1.

Remove electrical console from main housing.

2.

Remove screws bolting two halves of the console
together. Carefully separate the two halves taking
note of wire placement and routing.

3.

Swing top half of console away from bottom far
enough to access mounting screws for the GFCI,
and remove.

4.

Remove GFCI from housing and detach electrical
wires, noting all wire connections for reassembly.
Also consult wiring diagram during reassembly.

5.

The original GFCI has one corner tab removed to
clear housing. Remove this same tab from new
GFCI and assemble in same orientation.

6.

Torque the GFCI screws to 15 in-lbs.

Replacing Switch

1.

Remove electrical console from main housing

2.

Remove the screws bolting the two halves of the
console together. Carefully separate the two
halves taking note the wire placement and routing.

3.

Swing top half of console away from bottom far
enough to access back of switch.

4.

Press in mounting ears on each side of switch and
slide body out top of housing.

5.

Note the wire attachment locations and colors/
numbers and orientation of switch for reassembly.

6.

Reverse steps while consulting wiring diagram to
reassemble.
