4-3 Connect a telephone cable.
When <Connect phone line.> appears on the display, connect the
telephone cable by referring to the illustration.
If the handset is connected to the machine
You can use the handset without connecting an external telephone.
4-4 Exit the Fax Setup Guide, and then restart the machine.
Turn OFF the machine, wait for at least 10 seconds, and then it back ON.
The telephone line types are not detected automatically. See the e-Manual and set a telephone line manually.
