Image Categories
You can tag images as favorites or assign them to My Category ( = 203)
groups. By choosing a category in filtered playback, you can restrict the
following operations to all of those images.
• Viewing ( = 174), Viewing Slideshows (= 190), Protecting Images
( = 192), Erasing Images (= 196), Adding Images to the Print List
(DPOF) ( = 266), Adding Images to a Photobook (= 271)

Tagging Images as Favorites

Choose [Favorites].
z z Press the < n> button and choose
[Favorites] on the [ 1] tab (= 48).

Choose an image.
z z Press the < q><r> buttons or turn the
< 7> dial to choose an image, and then
press the < m> button. [ ] is displayed.
z z To untag the image, press the < m>
button again. [ ] is no longer displayed.
z z Repeat this process to choose additional
images.

Finish the setup process.
z z Press the < n> button. A
confirmation message is displayed.
z z Press the < q><r> buttons or turn the
< 7> dial to choose [OK], and then press
the < m> button.
• Images will not be tagged as favorites if you switch to Shooting
mode or turn the camera off before finishing the setup process in
step 3.
