SCSI Parity Checking

Pin pair SP enables or disables SCSI Parity Checking. The available
settings are

The host adapter always checks parity when reading from the SCSI
bus to verify the data from your SCSI devices. If any attached SCSI
device does not support SCSI parity, then SCSI Parity Checking on
the host adapter should be disabled. Most devices today, however,
do support SCSI parity.

Jumper Block J7 (AMM-1572 only)

Jumper block J7 enables or disables the floppy disk controller. If
your floppy diskette drives are already running under another con-
troller, disable the onboard floppy controller on the AMM-1572. To
use the onboard floppy controller, leave it enabled on the
AMM-1572 and then disable your existing floppy controller. The
available settings are

Jumper Block J8

Jumper block J8 is reserved for Adaptec use.

Jumper Block J9

Jumper block J9 configures the IRQ channel and I/O Port and BIOS
Base Address. The default configuration is:
