Installing the External SCSI Connector Mounting Bracket
If you are connecting external SCSI devices to the AMM-1570/1572,
you will need to install the external SCSI connector mounting
bracket. The mounting bracket is available from Adaptec and is nor-
mally included with all AMM-1570/1572 kits.
To install the external SCSI connector mounting bracket:
1 Locate an unused expansion bus slot (preferably next to the
AMM-1570/1572) in your system and remove the correspond-
ing slot cover.
Note: The bracket occupies the slot cover opening
only and is not actually installed into the expan-
sion slot.
2 Align and insert the bracket in the expansion slot cover
opening.
