While playing audio CDs from your CD-ROM drive, you can not hear
any sound while plugged into the SPKR jack on the AMM-1570/1572,
but if you plug into the audio/headphone jack on the CD-ROM drive it
works fine.

A separate audio cable provided by the CD-ROM manufacturer
must be connected from the Line-level Output (Audio Out)
connector on the CD-ROM drive to the CD Audio Input con-
nector (J4) on the AMM-1570/1572. Refer to Line-in (IN) Jack on
page 3-18.

ASPI Manager Error Messages

This section list error messages and the conditions which they may
be displayed.

aspi2dos.sys Error Messages

Failed to initialize HA

Check the host adapter and reinstall if necessary. Check jumpers and
cables.

aspi2dos.sys Installation Failed

Check the contents of your

config.sys

file. Remove all unnecessary

device drivers (including all memory managers) until

aspi2dos.sys

installs successfully; then reload the other drivers one at a time to
find the driver that is causing the problem. Try installing

aspi2dos.sys

on the first line of your

config.sys

. file.

Illegal or no Hex Digit Found on command line option
Illegal Digit Found on command line /

x

option

Check the syntax of the statements in your

config.sys

file. There may

be an invalid digit on the command line.

aspidisk.sys Error Messages

aspidisk.sys is NOT installed

Check the contents of your

config.sys

file. Remove all unnecessary

device drivers until

aspidisk.sys

installs successfully; then reload the

drivers one at a time to find the driver that is causing the problem.

Be sure that the disk device you want to control with

aspidisk.sys

is

not under the control of the host adapter BIOS. (If enabled, the host
adapter BIOS controls the SCSI drives installed at SCSI IDs 0 and 1,
and

aspidisk.sys

is not required.)
