Introduction

What's new

The command line interface user guide contains the following changes for VC 3.70/3.75:

The VC CLI displays the real WWN and MAC addresses in the following commands when the server

profile is assigned:

o

show all

o

show enet-connection

o

show fc-connection

o

show fcoe-connection

o

show iscsi-connection

o

show profile <ProfileName>

o

show server-port <PortID>
This depends on whether the server-port corresponds to a Flex-10 adapter. The VC CLI only displays
physical WWN and MAC addresses for physical ports and leaves the fields blank for virtual/Flex

ports.

Modified the following commands to allow for a "Disabled" speed type:

o

add enet-connection

o

set enet-connection

o

add iscsi-connection

o

set iscsi-connection

If the speed type is "Disabled", bandwidth is not allocated and the server port status is "Administratively
Disabled".

Modified the show config command to use bulk commands to enhance performance

Added the Type property to the add fabric command to allow the specification of a FabricAttach

or DirectAttach fabric for FlexFabric modules

Added the NoFlood property to the set igmp command to allow or prevent the flooding of

unregistered multi-cast packets

Modified the show ssl-certificate * output to display the new data fields when they are set in

the installed certificate

Modified the save ssl-csr command to include additional certificate data fields
Additionally, if the existing key is 1024 bits, a 2048 bit key and certificate will be generated before the
certificate signing request (CSR) is created.

Modified the reset statistics command to reset per-port statistics for the specified port ID and its

associated subports

Modified the show statistics command to display common statistics for the subport
