You can either Copy the selected Recovery Set to datastore or Attach the Recovery Set to a
Virtual Machine.
•
Copy to datastore—Select the datastore to which you wish to copy the selected Recovery
Set.
•
Attach to Virtual Machine—Select the VM to which you wish to attach the selected Recovery
Set.
a.
To copy the Recovery Set to a datastore:
i.
Select Copy to datastore.
All the associated datastores are displayed.
ii.
Select an appropriate datastore to which you want to copy the Recovery Set.
iii. To overwrite, select Overwrite existing Virtual Disk.
iv.
Click Copy.
v.
Click Yes when you are prompted for confirmation.
The Recovery Set is successfully copied to the datastore.
b.
To attach the Recovery Set to a VM:

i.
Select Attach to Virtual Machine.
All the associated VMs are displayed.
ii.
Select an appropriate VM to which you want to attach the Recovery Set.
iii. Click Attach to attach the Recovery Set.
iv.
Click Yes when you are prompted for confirmation.
The Recovery Set is successfully attached to the VM.
Detach Remote Recovery Sets
You can detach a Recovery Set that is already attached to a VM.
To detach a Recovery Set

Navigate to the vSphere Web Client home page.
