4 Storage Administrator Portal
The Storage Administrator Portal for VMware vCenter enables you to configure Storage Systems
and management servers for management by the Storage Module for vCenter. For Storage Systems
that support provisioning, use the Storage Administrator Portal to assign access permissions to
storage pools. You can use the vSphere Client or vSphere Web Client to perform storage
provisioning operations such as adding a new datastore, deleting or expanding an existing
datastore, creating new VMs, or cloning existing VMs on storage pools that are set to Full Access.
For more information on Storage Administrator Portal, see the HP Insight Control for VMware
vCenter Server User Guide. RMV plug-in for vSphere Web Client requires that all the discovered
StoreServs are added to the Storage Administrator Portal for its management operation.
Using Storage Administrator Portal for VMware vCenter
1. Click Start
→All Programs→HP Insight Control for vCenter, and then click Storage Administrator
Portal for vCenter.

2. Enter the user name and password. and click OK. The Storage Administrator Portal for VMware
vCenter appears.

3. If the HP 3PAR StoreServ certificate changes, then the Storage Administrator Portal displays
a warning message. You must accept the certificate to connect to the StoreServ.
