Adding an ESXi Host to the vCenter Server

If an ESXi host with connection to HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage System is added to the vCenter
Server after the vSphere Web client is launched and the Storage System does not appear on the
existing HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage System list, then you need to add the StoreServ credentials
using the Storage Administrator Portal, then log off and log in again to the Web client. For more
information on logging in to the Web client, see Logging on to the VMware vSphere Web Client
and viewing connected StoreServ information
.

CAUTION:

An ESXi host can be managed only by a single vCenter Server. However, if you have

successfully added a host that is already connected to another vCenter Server, then the host loses
connection to the vCenter Server to which it was connected.
