Scheduling Remote Recovery Sets creation
You can automatically create Remote Recovery Sets according to a specified schedule.
To view or create a scheduled Remote Recovery Set task:
1.
Select the desired Storage System in the left navigation pane.
2. Click Actions
→Schedule Remote Recovery Set Creation.
From the Scheduled List page, you can add a scheduled Remote Recovery Set creation task,
or modify an existing task using the Schedule Task Wizard.
3. Click Add, to add a new scheduled Remote Recovery Set task.
The Welcome tab of the Create Schedule Task Wizard windows appears.
4. Click Next. The Scheduler Credential window appears.
Enter the mandatory schedule task name, Windows user name, and password.
5. Click Next. The Schedule window appears.

Select the task frequency from Perform Recovery Set creation task to create the Recovery
Set. The following frequencies are listed:
i.
By minutes
ii. Hourly
iii. Daily
iv.
Weekly
v. Monthly
vi. One time only
b. Set the start time and time period for the schedule in the Start time and Recur every fields.
NOTE: If the vCenter server and RMV server are in different time zones, the default
date and time are based on the RMV server and vCenter server respectively. You need
to synchronize the time differences when creating the schedule.
