Q. While creating Recovery Sets, the Web Client displays the error Remote Host is not
reachable or does not have RMV installed

although the Remote RMV host is already

registered.

A. Verify if the port TCP number has changed based on the modules selected. The RMV TCP port
number is available in Admin Tool in the vCenter Plug-in Configuration tab.

Q. The RC groups are not displayed under the Remote Recovery Sets.

A. You must create the RC groups using HP 3PAR Management Console, and ensure that the
volume, that is a part of the RC group, is mapped to the ESXi host.

Q. The Web Client displays the error, Unable to connect to HOSTNAME: Port No. Make
sure it is up and running and TCP port 3512 is open

.

A. A valid port number must be provided in the Recovery Manager TCP port while registering the
Remote Copy pair in the Admin Tool.
