Sharing a folder in Windows XP

Right-click on the file or folder to be shared from Windows Explorer or My Computer, and then
click Sharing and Security. On the dialog box that appears, the Sharing tab is selected by default.

Select Share this folder. The name of the folder that appears on the network may be changed by
typing in the new name in the Share name field.
