4. Close the heatsink locking levers.
5. (Optional) To optimize performance, install memory into the processor 2 DIMM slots (" System board
components " on page 11 ).
6. Remove the fan blank in fan bay 3 (" Remove a fan blank " on page 29 ).
7. Install the fan into fan bay 3.
8. Connect the fan cable to the system board (" System board components " on page 11 ).
