Checking volume I/O performance

By executing the

KTQSTATS

command, you can acquire I/O performance information (number of

I/O operations for the drive media) for each volume in a tiering policy group. You can view the
acquired information to check if there is any problem with the I/O performance of volumes.

Prerequisites

Creating a tiering policy group definition file

To check volume I/O performance:

Execute the

KTLOAD

command.

The contents of the configuration files are loaded into REXX variable structures.
