HP recommends that you create at least one management hub for every 256 servers. For example,
if you plan to monitor 1000 servers, you should create a minimum of 4 management hubs.
The management hub also runs the
aggregator (supermond) and
(nagios_monitor) services.
4.2.1 Creating a management hub
Use the following procedure to create a management hub:

You can perform Steps 2 and 3 in reverse order, but both must be done before step 4.
1.
Determine which server or servers you want to act as a management hub.

Install the operating system for that server using the appropriate

this file has the form *-management-hub.cfg to ensure that the required RPMs are
